Monday, I had a fall while playing pickleball, and decided to get some new shoes. Went to this store based on input from another player. I arrived told the man I needed some new pickleball shoes. He looked at what I was wearing and said "Sketchers" in a tone and went on to say no wonder and they weren't court shoes. I knew they were but saw no reason to contradict him. I bought clean socks because mine were sweaty, and told him I could be a size 6.5 or 7. He didn't measure my foot. He just selected and put down 3 pair, size 6.5 and told me they were all 40% off, great deal. As i tried them on, he made pronouncements about each brand, as in this is the most supportive, this was good arch support. Shoes aren't my line so I just accepted his input without comment except to tell him that I couldn't feel the arch support he indicated was great in one brand. I walked around a bit, chose a pair, paid and left. Id been warned about h8s social skills lacking. Wednesday, I played indoor on a gymnasium floor for about an hour, wearing my new shoes. By the time I got home and removed socks and shoes, both pinky toes were red and missing the top outer layer of skin. I cleaned the shoes and to

I shopped at this store instead of buying online because I wanted to support a local business and also assumed I would get personal customer service and support. On going in the young man was not interested in measuring my foot for appropriate fit and only offered the advice that if I wore a 71/2 shoe that is what I should buy. I tried the pair he gave me and since they were not comfortable he only gave me the option of their “best selling shoe” k-Swiss. I bought the shoes. After wearing a couple of days the shoe started to wear a sore spot on both my ankles because they rode up too high on my foot. I would think that this is something that should have been talked about before I bought them. I do not have a problem with any of my tennis shoes from the past wearing on my ankle bone. I stopped by there today thinking they would exchange them for something that would properly fit my foot but I was told there was no such policy. I was advised to buy higher fitting socks. I do not believe that will solve the problem. Lesson learned. I might as well have saved money and bought shoes online.

This owner is a snake. I stopped in asking to demo a racket. I asked him when I needed to have it back by, he said casually “oh whenever”. Never told me price of a demo. I’ve demo’s from Tennis warehouse ($25) and many other tennis shops for $10. I just dropped it off and he charged me $84!!! To demo a racket. He said “oh yeah it’s a daily rate of $4/day” but never told me that. Do not by here. Bad business taking advantage of people.

I was greatly surprised when I went in to this store. Drove by it before I could find it. Don’t be deceived like I was by the building. These guys know their stuff !!! Bought a Wilson Clash and they strung it in no time. Played with it today and BAM💥, I have my favorite racket of all time. They will match your needs. I am now considered senior, and I wanted arm friendly with ease, control, and power. Yep, Yep!!!!👍Even had players commenting, asking, and one asked to trade rackets during our games.
